Even though Borash is a “finger blaster” from way back, I like him personally. He’s terrible trying to be a character!! His constant presence not only cheapens Impact and sucks the energy out of it for the “casual fan” that may be checking TNA out but, its killing and clowning up Foley just like it did with Kurt Angle!

Too much Borash! He is a good Q and A guy! But he has no personality beyond that!

The Eric and Jarrett promo “The powers that be??” Hmmm where did we hear that before??

The audio and microphones suck! I know the audio guys they are GREAT! Steve Small is trying to save money in the wrong places again and I’ll bet TNA is late paying that vendor! Which, is a shame because the audio in the promos, angles, and vinettes are key! Especially when you don’t have a brand yet!
I don’t think that slipped by Sahadi and Sullivan in post! I just think it was so bad they couldn’t fix it!

The new girl SUCKS!! Have her on camera in another role. She’s beautiful but, doesn’t fit where TNA has her!

Why would Rhino (Man beast??) take a weak ass shot from Eric, over sell that, and throw the broad and the other guy? Eric was barely off screen! It killed Rhino’s “struggling “character off even more!

Yeah it’s a shoot with Eric being Jeffs clown but again, inside joke. And if they keep doing promos with too much of the old shit, Eric will be the “under dog” again and he won’t have any heat!

Booker T audio was even worse!!! The microphone on that set was merely a “prop” when I was there!! I don’t know what the hell happened to the proper audio on that set?? I’ll guess its Small “saving a buck” again, probably NOT fighting with Universal (like he should) so the “gifted” guy that owns and operates that equipment can pull right up to the studio to unload and park instead of parking a mile away where NO ONE could carry that shit to the set!! And a little insult to injury, TNA, I’ll bet is late paying him! What is the point of having Booker on the roster and on TV if you can’t hear a thing he says?? You can hear “the new girl” (who again sucks) and Sharmell who isn’t very charismatic either.

Please!! Think of the scenario this way, how much is TNA paying the three people I mentioned? How much TV time was that? And what do you figure that time is actually worth?? And you can’t hear what’s going on? Only a couple of pretty women that don’t really know what they are doing? How is the product supposed to brand? Is it worth the alleged $8.5 million Spike is paying?
TNA is not supposed to be an “indy” promotion! At $8.5 million a year (allegedly) Spike should get MUCH MUCH more for their money!

Look I give Storm a lot of credit! TNA has spent BARELY anything to develop that guy! As a matter of fact, TNA is so cheap when it comes to him, that they make his life harder!! I’ve seen him man! He sucks it up like a professional, makes a few jokes about the situations, and then does the BEST ANYONE COULD DO with what they give him! This can be blamed on Steve Small and the little crew of “dishonorable” carpenters! (they are talented but, can’t get out of their own way!

The premise of a Storm beer vehicle is great! If what Storm drove tonight were on an “indy” show it would be entertaining but, not for Spike nor a self proclaimed, wrestling company that thinks Vince is watching and that they have him nervous!

I swear, the cooler that Storm was riding was an old cooler that I would have my crew keep cold, bottled, water in for Hector and Willie! There’s no excuse for that! It looks “garbage picked”. The worst part about the scenario is Small thinks he did a good thing saving the company a couple of bucks but, you don’t spend good money on the “pyro blasts” for Storms entrance and then spend $20 on the vehicle he rides in on!!

Apparently he just turned baby face. Is this “smart business” when they are trying to develop him? In the 80’s and 90’s Barry Horowitz spent more than Steve Small allocated for that thing Storm has to ride now!

Stacker 6 Hour Energy: I never got around to it a week or so ago (got served divorce papers and was a bit down. Not because of my wife so much but, my poor kids!) I wanted to comment on how the first set of tapings TNA had a sponsor, Steve Small was too cheap to let the Set designer (Gregg Horne) get a proper logo for the canvas’s! So, you couldn’t even see the God Damn logo!

Small is going to fight them on this issue!! Because he doesn’t get it! He can’t wrap his brain around the fact that having a sponsor, and giving that sponsor a strong presence, is a “spend money to make money” situation! Seeing that it is currently rectified, I’ll bet that Jeff him self, scolded Small in private. But, Small isn’t done yet! This issue will come up again and while TNA has “egg on their face” and are forced to scold Small again, he will find a way to pin it on Randall Brown who makes the canvas’s. Just watch!

Ok, we couldn’t hear what Booker was saying. Poor Storm had to ride a garbage can to the ring, and then Tenay totally missed the God Damn “heel cut off” spot where Booker dropped Storm on the top rope! Inexcusable!!

Mike was too busy being the “professor” to do his job WHICH IS TO GET THE TALENT OVER!!! There is a time and place during a broadcast for the commentator to “share his wrestling knowledge” and to “pimp” the company’s products. But his job is to COMENTATE the match!! Get the talent over!! Obviously, this isn’t being done with TNA commentary! No ones over!

6 hour energy sponsor: I hope my comments above, in regard to Stacker are fresh on your mind. Now I only watched Impact from the point that this post started but, I saw (not claim to have saw!!!) at least 3 Spike commercials for 5 hour energy. HUGE F#$K –UP!! You have one sponsor right? You haven’t exactly “rolled out the red carpet” so to speak to that sponsor at the start of the relationship. But, now they have to compete with their competition on the TV time they pay you for??? Is this really brain surgery?

This isn’t the first time they have done this to their new “sponsor” either. For granted there were no Cash4Gold ads (there was one commission ad but, I can’t remember. I’m still “reeling” from my personal shit!) but, this one appears to be on Spike and TNA!

In the same token though, at $8.5 mil. Spike should put who they want on! TNA should use more time and brain power into selling their own struggling products then $hitting on Stacker.

Plus, look at the TNA produced Stacker ad! Its shot half in HD and half non?? They totally slapped that together out of Kurts old intro.

An idiot could see that! That spot makes Stacker and TNA look like hell!! If it’s a matter of not getting enough money from Stacker to produce a first class spot, drop’em!

Especially if you are a company that is allegedly getting $8.5 million and claim to be “in the black”. You wouldn’t need to cheapen yourself or tarnish your relationship with your only sponsor if you WERE THE SUCCESS you claim to be! Yes I’m bitter. How can anyone not be who watches?

Finally, TNA closes the show with another audio problem. You could hear Sting well enough (if you even wanted to) but, the other microphone was shot! TNA “scripted” what they would call a “hot close” to that Impact but, how hot was it if you couldn’t hear the heels?

And was it just me? Or did the millionaire Grandpas look more like the New World Order with arthritis and some poor young bastards that aren’t given enough information as to what they are supposed to do? Or what creative exactly wants?

From the part of Impact that I tuned into was supposed to be the “meat” of the program. What I saw certainly wasn’t and the 7 year excuse doesn’t fly with the common sense issues I described!
