WWE doing “research” among customer’s of various larger chain sports bars.

You have to respect this!! As a fan or on a business level!! WWE is rolling up it sleeves and doing some good, old fashioned, Guerilla marketing. Plus, it shows intitiative (to me anyway) because they are looking for ways to enhance one of their biggest revenue streams (PPV) by accepting the economy is down and partnering with companies like Hooters etc. This makes the pay per view more accessable and affordable to the masses and gets WWE the “guaranteed” PPV buys.

WWE does NOT put out press release on the termination of “UMAGA”.
I wanted to paste all the “contoversy” in regard to this to bring it to a point. There was just to many friggin’ reports and B.S.
My point is this, addiction of any sort, is in fact, considered a “disease” regardless of anyone’s personal feelings and opinions. WWE is a “public” company. Therefore, share holders are entitled to an explaination. The question would then be, how to give up the reasons while maintaining some sort of sensativity (and CLASS in my opinion) in regard to respect for the individual and his condition. I think again, WWE shined on the decison to post the reason on the corporate page on their site and NOT putting out an official press release that could potentially really hurt the guy!

WWE:Jeff Hardy making house shows in spite of injury’s.
I’m impressed with Hardy and again WWE. If you recall, TNA wrestling couldn’t get Jeff to do anything! TNA couldn’t get him to wrestle with a “hang nail” nor get him over or make a dime with him!!
WWE not only re-packaged and marketed the guy again but, has also motivated him to wrestle injured??
The report say’s he has a seperated shoulder and a broken finger. If Jeff wanted to, they would let him off a few shows but, the guy is working!!

WWE tactics on “Illegal streaming” of WWE ppv’s.
Well, they should. I think its a matter of time before UFC does the same. The internet websites don’t believe this will affect buy rate’s but, over the course of a year, that WILL ammount to serious money! Especially in the current economy. TNA could use this as an excuse for their low buy rates LOL!!!

WWE cracks down on Kennedy signs.
Eeeeh, a bit “nitpicky”! Of course WWE reserves the right to take away signs they don’t approve of, there are better ways to focus their energy! Whats the matter with the fans telling them what they want? I see the Ken signs as harmless. Plus bring him back, certainly wouldn’t hurt WWE right now.

Chris Jericho to host upcoming VH1 series.
LUCKY ASS BASTARD!!! Not really, he’s good. He’s charismatic as all hell. I’m sure he will be good!

Frank Trigg comments in an interview when asked on a return to TNA…
No offense but, did anyone even know he was there? Look Trigg’s MMA stardom is merely “on the rise”. I’m not saying he isn’t tough but, he’s not a well known MMA star. He was featured on HDNET TV which most people aren’t even aware of. If I’m his agent, I’m advising him to just pretend the whole TNA thing never happened! Let the mainstream see your MMA talent and when that run is over, consider TNA. Plus, it’s for TNA’s own good as well. They were paying the guy BIG BUCKS and no one new who was yet!

WWE and TNA current Nielsen ratings.
WOW!! TNA hasn’t budged! ECW is a bit behind them but, again one must factor in the availability of Sci Fi in homes and the channels placement on the “dial”.
WWE Superstars has been on around a month and…. THE SHOW IS .1 % behind TNA iMPACT??? Someone at Spike NEEDS to take note of this!! (are you reading still??)

Recent TNA attendance figures.

Look someone recently commented on my post regarding TNA live event attendance. They enjoyed themselves in Wa. And commented on the accessability to the wrestlers. YES! They are more interactive with the fans. You need to know though that this is ONLY an attempt to create revenue thru live event merchandise sales!!
A “well run” independant promotion has the wrestlers out at the merchandise table. You can take a polaroid with certain wrestlers in the ring during intermission and after the main event. WWE doesn’t do this because THEY DON’T NEED TO!!!
Not everyone that attends a wrestling show is safe to be around! A company kind of takes it chances giving fans that kind of “closeness” to their wrestlers. Not to mention, that IT IS AN INSURANCE NIGHTMARE!!! To allow people into the ring. I know I have seen and helped people into the TNA ring that could have gotten hurt!! Even with every possible precaution being taken! Plus these ideas were all ME and Terry Taylor’s when we used to run the live events together to help stop the bleeding and to create revenue! Like I said, it really is “bush league” and just verify’s the fact that TNA wrestling is a “GLORIFIED” indy company!! It’s a well run indy company but still an indy company especially when you look at the attendance. I can assure you, at those numbers TNA LOST ITS ASS on all events!
