TNA Knockouts, Roxxi, and how freakin’ wrong it is!
This came from a reader and even though its in the comments on that post, I feel it should be put out there more to get the issue more attention.
When I first started posting on the treatment of The Knockouts, peoples first reactions were that I was “full of shit”. Maybe because it’s to ridiculous to believe.
Now some of those same people are making excuses for it (which there really is none) like “Oh well its business”. “Supply and demand”. “Well where else would they wrestle? WWE won’t hire them”.
WTF is that kind of thinking?? How do these opinions switch so drastically?

And YES it would be very easy today to file a suit and settle if not win as far as ANY discrimination because of TNA’s past history!
I know from experience that once you “settle” (Konnan which was over $800k) on something like discrimination you are susceptible to the same forever!
EXAMPLE;
I had a successful business a few years back. One of the attorney’s general came after my company and 4 others in the same industry.
I learned through tons of pain and frustration, that these “FILTHY BASTARD” A.G.’s wanted a settlement. Wanted us to pay a fine.
One thing I absolutely f’n hate is being bullied!!
And I hate even more, being called something I’m not! Ask anyone that knows me, I’ll “take my lump’s” when I fuck up.
Well, here I made a stand and tried to get the others to stand with me. I knew and told the others that “We’ve done nothing wrong why settle?? If we settle, this will leave you wide open for further abuse, accusations, and once you cave in they will be a problem for ever!”

That was in 1998 and my “peers” didn’t stand up and settled with a fine. They A.G. (in said state) first took the “admission of guilt” and changed the laws so far to their advantage that they have made it next to impossible for these companies to function and produce revenue.
The A.G. has invented registration fees “out of thin air” which cost my former “peers” more money and……. THEY ALL HAVE LEGAL TROUBLE WITH THIS A.G. to this day being accused of the same shit that I stood up for!
I didn’t settle and I fought in court and won 6 times! They never bothered me again and I left that industry on my terms.
Same thing here TNA is so wide open to this kind of suit and they have showed their weakness and pretty much made an “admission of guilt” as far as discrimination goes!!

You see?
It wouldn’t take much. Maybe if I can “muster” the energy and brain power, I’ll try and “rally the troops” because I KNOW in 2010 and with all of the facts here presented in a court of law justice WILL be served and even a “decent” lawyer could win this.

“Let’s get this straight. Roxxi shaved her head for that company? Broke her ankle for that company? Tolerated a basket case of a star wrestler’s ex-girlfriend for that company? And this is what they do?! If common sense was money, TNA will be more in a red than it is right now! Deplorable! Sexist! And despicable! If I were a lawyer, I’d convince Roxxi, Kong, and any other woman wrestler who was hosed to come together and absolute daylights out of that company.
Russo is a self-proclaimed religious, creative genius who is really nothing but a non-talented hack who cannot even write his own name. The only talent he has is keeping a job which is sad. In these times, I don’t like to see anyone in the unemployment line. Holy smokes, this man has to go. I hope the buyout from GNC is true. Someone should have this man in the nearest soup line coming up with an angle on how to be a competent writer!
Such atrocious idiocy proves much more that Russo and Dixie are nothing but conversational pieces with oxygen! Had they got a competent writer who can book and kept Dutch Mantell. They would be kicking ass and taking names. Unfortunately, they’re at the precipice of being nonexistent. That is sad! And a shame! It is another proof TNA is a parody of a wrestling company!

Randy, are you really surprised at the shabby treatment TNA gives the ladies? I mean, sure the company is technically run by a woman, Ditzy, but she’s a sorority girl. I know you didn’t go to college Randy, but where I went, sorority girls were infamous for many things, none of which included brains or intelligence.
Also, many people, including yourself, have seen less than mature behavior that one would expect from a middle aged corporate female come from Ditzy away from the office.
None of this surprises me and I just feel that they are playing the “We have a woman in charge so how could we possibly be sexist” card waaaaaaaaaay to much here. I could see that being plausible if she was distinguished and accomplished, but that’s not the case here.

I again have to ask is it in the best interests of TNA’s womens division to sue? Most of them signed contracts and knew more or less what they were getting into. It was no secret that things in the TNA offices and locker rooms aren’t exactly sun and roses. Plus Roxxi had been there TWICE before so she DEFINATELY knew the way things ran in TNA. I can’t see any lawsuit going too far since TNA will probably put pressure on it’s employees not to tell the truth. I had a situation not too long ago when I tried to sue the business I worked for before being fired, every lawyer I talked to told me not to bother since all the witnesses worked for the company and would not come forward at trial. Imgainge Roxxi trying to get someone like Lethal to testify on her behalf? Ya think he’d screw up his “big push” for her? And yeah Konnan got some bucks but more than likely he has alienated himself from any and every promoter on the northern side of the border and I’m pretty sure he’s probably squandered his money by now. Yeah it’s a $#!++y business at times but that’s the way it works and anyone getting into it should know first hand what they are getting into and not believe empty promises.

Randy, slightly off topic here, but do you happen to know if there is anything in the women’s contracts(WWE,TNA, etc.) saying that they can’t get pregnant while under contract? I’ve always thought it was odd that no one has ever left the business because they were pregnant.
