The BBC has a more “racey” version of early details. Hey, whatever the guy was into he was the youngest 72 yr old ever. I’ve been getting tons of feedback from friends on this and something just occured to me. And that is NO ONE is making jokes!! Which for my friends, is a big deal! Not that my friends are a$$holes or anything but, this is one of those deaths that I think people can’t really laugh thru…ya’ know what I mean??
I spent some time today with an old friend. I’ve been “battling” depression for a spell now and have been doing ok considering all the $HIT I’m currently dealing with!
I’m not saying that Davids death put me into a “funk” but, it definately caught me off guard and feeling that kind of set off the other stuff.
I had a pretty rough childhood and I can’t express how much Caradine and “Kung Fu” impacted me as a kid! I was into that show even before I discovered wrestling! Thinking back now, they really delivered that show with some good principle based facts in regard to the arts! The guy was the “ULTIMATE UNDERDOG” and he never used his art until cornered. At the same time he gave us kids the adrenelin rush as the “payoff”!!
It was AWESOME!!! But the brand of kicking ass Kung Fu and Caradine presented was probably the most constructive delivery of action and violence in the history of T.V.!! That majic has not been captured since!! Alright!! I’m going to say it at the risk of “exposing my juggular” It was like, the more spiritual you are, THE MORE OF A BAD ASS YOU REALLY ARE!!!
